It’s starting to get hot these days. It wasn’t nice waking up sweating.
I can’t believe it. I was actually able to fix the propane nozzle. I got so frustrated because I didn’t know what I was doing and I felt like I was just making it worse. I went this morning and stole the same kind of nozzle off somebody else’s tank. I thought I might have broken it as I was getting it off but I guess not because it tightened up on our tank just fine and seems to be working. I know it’s not leaking because I held up a lighter all around it when I started the gas flowing and there weren’t any flames. That was kind of scary but it was fine.
I’m glad that Dad involved me in pretty much everything he did since the Vanishing. I didn’t know how to do any of this stuff before. It’s almost like he knew I would have to take over someday. Sometimes I really wonder if he did. But then I think, no, he was just getting me ready for like decades from now when he was old. Plus he liked to teach and he was a good teacher. It sure is a good thing he did. Dad didn’t know but I guess God knew.
