Garrett just came in and woke us up. He’s been up all night with stomach pain. He says he threw up a couple of times. We asked him where it hurt and he pointed to the lower right side of his stomach. We think it may be appendicitis.

Why? Why now?

Brewer has gone into town to find some nitrous oxide and Novocaine. We’re hoping the pain clears up on its own, but if it doesn’t…

I’m boiling some water.

Brewer said that just last weekend he was looking through the medical books and noticed the information on appendectomies. He said he had a kind of premonition.
