Molly almost got eaten. She was outside. We heard her growling and screaming. Mom turned on the light and there were three big raccoons. They had cornered Molly on the porch. They were trying to get her. Dad was in the shower. Mom grabbed her mop and ran out. She shouted at those raccoons and swung the mop. They didn’t want to go, but she hit them and then they ran. Claire got Molly and she was scared but fine.

When Garrett came down we told him what happened. He gave Mom a high five. Then Dad came out and we told him. He was proud of Mom and he kissed her.
