For some reason, I love Interstate '76.
I've played it through once or twice a year ever since it
came out. It's always a treat to do so, like visiting a favorite old camping spot charged with memory.
It's odd. No one is less interested in cars than I am. I'm not a huge fan of driving games. Indeed,
Interstate 76 is not the game I respect the most or that has thrilled me the most. And yet, this game
offers an experience so evocative, so oddly compelling, that it outpaces almost any other game I've played
in terms of sheer emotional power.
If anyone out there loves Interstate '76 something like I do, please
let me know.
I have transcribed all of the wonderful
poems Taurus recites during the game.
