This weekend I participated in Ludum Dare 27. Ludum Dare is a game programming competition in which competitors create a game from start to finish in under 48 hours. This year the required theme (competitors must incorporate the theme somehow) was 10 Seconds. The theme is announced right at the start of the competition (8PM Friday for my time zone) so that no one can cheat by working early. You have to create the code, the art, the music—everything—in 48 hours.
I had a blast. I got real tired. I learned a lot.
And I made a game.
Here it is.
